[MPlayer-users] fullscreen locks the cursor on playing screen?

When I play something in a fullscreen mode such as:

  DISPLAY=:0.2 mplayer -autoq 0 -vo sdl -fs -osdlevel 1 <file>

my mouse pointer/cursor seems to be locked on the screen that the
stream I am playing is playing on.  Why is this?  Is there any way to
have mplayer not do it?
