[MPlayer-users] DVD (MPlayer rocks again)

I've just tried the DVD thing. I'm unsure if I've installed any de-css 
related stuff, I'm quote sure I'm not (I download mplayer snapshots 
seldom, but they all work fine, so it's a compile-install-forget deal).

Anyway, DVD seems to be unprotected, as it comes with magazine.

MPlayer plays it fine, and there's nothing more to say about it.

Then I've tried to play it on mustdie'98, with Matrox (ravisent) DVD 
player which came with my G400. What a mess ;) The picture is clearly 
interlaced, the 5.1 sound is not downmixed to stereo, so I can hear 
very strange sound, and interface makes me sick. In two words, it suxx.
