gdb session means to start mplayer within gdb:
gdb /path/to/mplayer

see man gdb and bugreports.html for more information

a SIG11, also called SIGSEG or segfault means that the program
tried to access memory that was not assigned to the program
(like grabing someone elses lunch :)
