That just delays the video even further.

I don't know if this helps, but on closer examination there seem to be
two audio tracks involved: one that's the sound of the matrix code
falling and the letters of the title chirping into place, and the next
that's piano and voiceover for the show.  They're supposed to be
played sequentially, with the piano starting after the matrix-chirps
one ends, but instead they play simultaneously, and that throws the
timing off.
