[MPlayer-users] gnome2 stay-on-top

Hi,

Back in september somebody asked if mplayer could "stay-on-top" in gnome2, 
and as far as I could read in the archive it couldn't because at the time 
stay-on-top wasn't implemented in gnome2. Well it is now (and has been for 
some time) in gnome2.2. (see http://www.gnome.org/start/2.2/notes/rnwm.html 
)
I have been told that it requires a "hints" called _NET_WM_STATE_ABOVE (see 
http://www.freedesktop.org/standards/wm-spec/1.3/html/x231.html ).
Is it possible to implement this in mplayer?
