Hello,
I'm setting up a little playlist application that uses the mplayer -slave mode. I'm outputing to vesa. The vesa output goes out to a plasma screen.
My problem is that when a video loads up, the plasma is changing resolution which makes a black flash and then display's the current resolution (800x600 60Hz). Of course, when I swich to the next video, it flashes a lot (load -> read -> unload, load -> read -> unload).
Is there a way I could start mplayer saying I want it to be initialized at a certain resolution and not change anymore ? I saw that -fixed-vo option. But it doesn't seem to support vesa.
Thanks for you tips and help.
Regards,
