I am calling mplayer from within a program.
It pops up a DOS window shows the normal stuff

Is there a way to NOT show the DOS window?
Minimize it ;)
Technically, that's not DOS. That's just a shell. The version of
MPlayer you have probably requires a shell. I've seen builds of
MPlayer for Windows that don't rely on the shell, but at the same
time, you lose a lot of functionality.
THanks,
Jerry
