I have submitted this bug report before, but may be my subscription got
cancelled along the way, as I do not see it on the archives or search pages.
Basically, the problem relates to the Closed Captions Decoder not being able to
distinguish between CC1, CC2 or CC3.
The way to reproduce the problem , at least the only way that I know, is to
record an MPG program from any ABC show, like Lost or Desperate Housewives.
Most of the ABC shows send Closed Captions with multiple languages on CC1 for
english, and CC3 for spanish.
The problem is that MPlayer 1.0pre8-3.4.2 plays both CC1 and CC2 (or CC1 and
CC3) , one after the other, so you do not get a chance to read the english one
before the spanish one is displayed. It is also extremely annoying.
Thanks for your support.
