[transcode-users] divx: ffmpeg & faad problem

Hi,

i was off some months, so if this problem has already occured, please
let me know. I also think it is not a typically transcode problem, but
perhaps you can help me. I didnt' find anything in the last 2000
transcode mails (i had a only a quick look:) , so I 'm posting:


I've just installed transcode and want to start a test divx-rip.

But there is an error:
/usr/lib/libavcodec.so: undefined symbol: NeAACDecOpen
[transcode] warning : (dl_loader.c) loading
"/usr/lib/transcode/export_divx4.so"


I've heard that the modules in the faad (or was it faac)-library where
changed to NeAACDecOpen, and I think that ffmpeg can't handle the new
name or something. But I'm using the newest version ffmpeg-0.4.9 ?!

I don't want to change sourcecode in ffmpeg (and i also don't feel I can
do this :)

Do you have an Idea ?  Or which version of faad /faac do you have ?
