I have posted a patch to the dev list which gives configure the ability to disable libmp1e. Hopefully it will be applied asap. By default libmp1e is compiled though, the switch is listed in the help and is called --disable-mp1e



Wow - that was fast. Thank you very much!


My hope is that if threading is required it use only the portable (common denominator) "POSIX" functions and that the mutex attribute be constrained to "error checking". "portability by design" rather
than after the fact is _so_ much easier :)

Good user support is the key to a successful product =).
This lib will be replaced soon. The new lib will not use threads and if it ever will, I'll try to make sure it's portable to all MPlayer supported platforms.
