I tried with -e on the 1sec clip and it seems fine. What could possibly be the problem?


at 30000 but encodes at 29970. Adding "-f 0,5" will do that.

Again, what is the potential problem, especially on the "big" clip?


You can also keep the PCM audio if you want, but you need to encode at 16 bit which will provide a larger audio file than mp3.

Forgive me for this third manifest of my ignorance, but *now* (i.e. with the commands suggested above) what am I getting: PCM or mp3?
